ABOUT ME
I was born in the Aosta Valley and today I live between the central valley and the Champorcher Valley.
I competed in ski mountaineering until around the age of nineteen. Over time also climbing and mountaineering became a central part of my life — less about competition, and more about places, people and shared experiences. Eventually these passions became my work.
Travelling, discovering new mountain areas and meeting people from different backgrounds are still a big part of what keeps me curious.
WHAT IS AN ASPIRANT MOUNTAIN GUIDE
A professional qualification.
The Aspirant Mountain Guide is the first professional level of the Mountain Guide qualification in Italy — not a trainee or an unqualified guide. A professional pathway that continues towards the full IFMGA Mountain Guide.
It requires a technical selection followed by more than a year of professional training in all mountain disciplines, rescue, risk management and teaching.

Conditions, people and objectives can change. Adapting the plan or turning back is part of moving well in the mountains.

Mountains welcome everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, background or starting level.
Sharing & conviviality
Learning, talking, sharing a meal, laughing and spending good time together are all part of the experience; reaching a summit is not everything.
No rush
I like moving without unnecessary pressure, leaving time to learn, look around and enjoy where we are.
